I have learned that my music preferences may be hindering the musical growth of Munchkin. I listen to a lot of Celtic and new age. I also listen to a lot of alternative rock, but I don’t often listen to classic rock. I love that genre as well and should really devote a little time to it for his listening chops.
Tonight we heard Rolling Stones’ Paint it Black and Sympathy for the Devil, then Led Zeppelin’s Kashmir. I’m thinking one or two songs per night from the classic rock period should do it. BUT what is considered classic rock AND what would you include in your playlist?
Stones, Zeppelin, Rush… I want a good, well-rounded musical education… so help me out here.
